12.1 Four beat kick. Theory.
In the previous chapters, we saw the 2 and 6 beat kick. But we still have the 4-beat kick, which is a mixture of the previous two, so until we master the 2-beat and 6-beat kick, it is not worth tackling the 4-beat kick, since since it is not symmetrical, it is the one that has the most complications at the level of coordination.
This 4-beat kick is usually used in medium distance tests, or also in long distance tests to make changes of pace.

12.2 Four beat kick. Practical part
The 4 beat kick is a combination of the 2 and 6 beat kick so until you master these last two, there is no point in facing this mixed combination. The 4 beat kick is mainly used for medium distance racing and to make changes of pace. In this video, we will teach you how to do it without losing the cross pattern at any time. Go for it.

With this exercise table, you will see that this coordination is not symmetrical, since one arm receives the help of 1 single kick, while the other will receive the help of 3 faster kicks.
